Critical Application Tape is a poly based double sided template tape designed for higher strength applications.
The CAT tape is ultra thin and has the highest shear strength of any tape we have tried.
The CAT tape has a much higher working temperature than our standard template tape and it’s poly based material is much more chemical resistant .
This makes it the ideal template tape when routering aluminum , Birch and other plywoods ,plastics or very small pieces when shifting is more likely due to reduced surface area for tape contact.

Very thin and strong. I use this tape where “normal” template tape won’t hold, specifically when mounting finished maple to finished maple. Another great tool to have in your arsenal.

Super strong! great holding strength, and aside from sticking hard to hold templates together it can be used for permanent mounting of lightweight panels/badges ect.
